Tom grew up in a family of 5 that loved and served Jesus. Converted in grade 11, he realised he had been trusting a self-righteousness, and a dead
faith to save him. He was baptised and his new life began.
Once out of Highschool, he felt the call to vocational ministry as he served in multiple evangelistic capacities. Unsure of what direction God would
take him, but refusing to be idle, he completed a Bachelor of Nursing, proposed to his now-wife, Joy, and transferred to Hope RBC. During these
years he studied, researched, and learned as much as he could theologically, and served Jesus in the local church wherever possible.
After becoming a member of Hope in 2016, Tom was appointed as Youth Minister in late 2018 and voted by the congregation into Eldership in late 2019.
He is enrolled at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary, in the early stages of a Masters of Divinity Degree, studying part-time.
He loves serving Hope Church as a Pastor, alongside Ivica, with all his heart. There is nothing in all the world he would rather be doing. His beautiful
wife is Joy, and together they have Arthur and Jeremiah.
He loves rare books, a good bargain on antiques, and his family. In fact, any combination of those is his usual Saturday routine. He would love to
meet you and hear your story.
